Hi, I’m Celeste LaGrange.

With a deep passion for perinatal nursing and a focus on postpartum support, I bring a compassionate, evidence-informed approach to caring for families during one of the most transformative seasons of their lives. I believe that every new baby brings not only immense joy but also significant physical, emotional, and relational changes. My goal is to support families through that transition with practical education, individualized care, and encouragement that empowers parents to feel confident and supported.

I have experience working alongside both midwives and obstetricians, and my time on a busy postpartum unit has provided valuable insight into a wide range of birth and postpartum experiences. It has also been my privilege to support numerous families throughout Calgary and the surrounding communities as they navigate the postpartum period. Through my work in both the hospital and community, I have developed a special interest in breastfeeding support, infant oral motor function, perinatal mental health, maternal recovery, and evidence-informed postpartum care. I have completed advanced continuing education in comprehensive breastfeeding support, infant oral motor function and feeding assessment, and perinatal mental health. I also enjoy supporting families with c-section recovery through education on topics such as scar desensitization, mobility, and self-management strategies, informed through collaboration with pelvic floor physiotherapists and current evidence.

As a mother of three, I also draw from my own personal journey, understanding firsthand the emotional, physical, and practical changes that accompany welcoming a new baby. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alberta, a Perinatal Nursing Extension Certificate from Mount Royal University, and maintain current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.

It is a privilege to walk alongside families during the postpartum period. Whether supporting infant feeding, maternal recovery, emotional wellbeing, or the transition into parenthood, my hope is to be a calm, knowledgeable presence and a soft landing for families as they build confidence and thrive together.
