Who we are

Vivara was created from a deep understanding that postpartum care should feel safe, supportive, and truly centered on the mother. Founded by Registered Nurses who have walked alongside countless families during one of life’s most transformative seasons, Vivara brings professional care into the comfort of your home.

We believe postpartum support goes beyond baby checkups and feeding tips. It’s about holding space for healing, for rest, for identity shifts—and doing so with both clinical excellence and heart-led presence.

Our Mission

To provide holistic, evidence-based postpartum care that empowers mothers to feel supported, heard, and held. We meet each family with compassion, professionalism, and a deep commitment to inclusive, accessible care.

Jenna Magee, R.N.

Hi there! I’m Jenna, a Registered Nurse with a passion for helping new moms. My background in Labor and Delivery and Postpartum care is not just a job for me—it’s a personal journey. I’ve had the incredible experience of delivering my own babies at home, supported by amazing midwives who provided the kind of care that every new mom deserves. That experience was so transformative, it sparked my mission to make sure other moms can receive the same level of compassionate care.

That’s why I started Vivara. We’re all about supporting new mothers through the ups and downs of postpartum life. From thorough assessments and personalized care to relaxing yoni steams, nourishing meals, lactation support, and mental health care—we’ve got you covered. Our goal is to create a nurturing, holistic environment where you can truly thrive during this special time. Because every mom deserves the best care, and we’re here to make that happen.

Celeste LaGrange, R.N.

With a deep passion for perinatal nursing and a focus on postpartum support, I bring a holistic approach to caring for families during one of the most transformative times in their lives. I believe that every new baby brings not only love but also significant adaptations, and my goal is to support families through that transition with compassion and evidence-based care. I have experience working alongside both midwives and obstetricians, and my time on a busy postpartum unit has given me valuable insight into a wide range of birth and postpartum experiences.

As a mother of three, I also draw from my own personal journey—understanding firsthand the emotional, physical, and practical changes that come with welcoming a new baby. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alberta, a perinatal nursing extension certificate from Mount Royal University, and have completed comprehensive breastfeeding education. I also hold an up-to-date Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification. I am honoured to be able to serve families in the community. Postpartum support can be life-changing, and I hope to be the soft landing you need to thrive during such a special time.

I am a Registered Nurse, Mama of 2 and a lover of all things nature! In my career as a Maternity nurse I have helped countless women transition into motherhood and I am so excited to get to support you even further on this journey in the comfort of your home. I graduated from the University of Calgary in 2012 and have worked in several different spaces but always with a maternity and family health focus. I started my career in Labour & Delivery, then moved into rural Maternity, Emergency and Day Surgery and currently work in Teletriage and Labour & Delivery. I am CPR and NRP certified and have completed advanced breastfeeding courses to serve you better.

I bring lots of holistic care into my practice and love to help people feel safe, seen and cared for. I especially am passionate about empowering you to feel comfortable advocating for yourself and your family and to recognize your innate strengths and abilities. Through becoming a mother myself I have learned countless tips and tricks for making this special, albeit often challenging, time easier. Having support in place can make all the difference and I hope to help ease you into this beautiful new role. Babies and children are truly such a gift, I have learned so much from my children and I absolutely love to see the world through their eyes! Welcoming a new baby is a transformational experience and I feel so blessed to get the opportunity to work with you and your family during this special time.
