Hi, I’m Laura Boutilier

I am a Registered Nurse with experienced in postpartum care and passionate about working with families. I especially love working with families as they embark on their parenting journey or expand their family. I had the amazing experience of delivering my firstborn at home in the Netherlands with midwives, and chose the same type of birth experience with midwives after returning to Canada. The in home support after birth was invaluable, especially when starting breastfeeding with my firstborn. As a registered nurse I hold a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Calgary, I am CPR and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certified, and have taken advanced breastfeeding courses. In my practice I bring my experience from working on a busy postpartum unit in the hospital, and I also draw on my experience as a mother. The postpartum period is a major transition and transformational time, my goal is to support you emotionally and physically, helping you thrive. I am honoured to be able to provide postpartum support to you in your home and empowering you on your parenting journey.
